Transformative correction
Chemical peels can create meaningful change in pigmentation, acne, texture and visible signs of aging. I do not use them as a first appointment or a one-off stunt. I prepare your skin, choose the peel around your actual concerns, and build the treatment into a longer-term plan.
CHEMICAL PEELS
BEFORE YOU GET A PEEL
You do not walk in and get one.
I need a relationship with your skin first. That means seeing how your barrier behaves, how you respond to professional exfoliation, and whether your home routine can support the recovery process.
1. START WITH A STANDARD FACIAL.
I establish your baseline and learn how your skin responds in the treatment room.
2. BUILD YOUR HOME-CARE FOUNDATION.
Your routine needs to support hydration, barrier health, sun protection and the concern I am trying to correct.
3. PROGRESS THROUGH ADVANCED TREATMENT WHEN NEEDED.
For many clients, an advanced facial is the bridge between a standard facial and a true corrective peel.
4. PEEL WHEN YOUR SKIN IS READY.
The calendar does not decide. Your skin does.
SETTING REAL EXPECTATIONS
You may peel a little. You may peel more. You may barely peel at all.
The goal is not shedding. The goal is to create the right controlled response for your skin and your treatment goal.
Minimal visible peeling
Some gel-based peels are designed to improve exfoliation, hydration and cell turnover with little or no downtime.
Light flaking
You may notice dryness or shedding in areas like the mouth, nose or chin as your skin moves through its recovery.
More noticeable peeling
Deeper self-neutralizing systems can create more obvious physical peeling. That response is planned for, not treated as a surprise after you leave.
IF THIS IS YOUR GOAL, START HEREYou can want the peel. I will help you build the route to it.
These are treatment pathways, not rigid rules. I may change the route after I see your skin.

Correction and hydration at the same time.

MandeliClear Peel

Built for stubborn discoloration.
Circadia describes MandeliClear as a deeper peel system developed specifically for pigmentation concerns associated with skin of color, including acne-related pigmentation, melasma and photodamage.
IF YOU WANT THIS PEEL, START HERE
BerryBright → BerryBright+ and/or BerryBright PRO based on response → MandeliClear.
Protocol range
Circadia lists resilient Fitzpatrick I-IV
Pretreatment
Fitzpatrick IV and above requires 2-4 weeks of tyrosinase-inhibiting prep in the protocol
OPTIONAL ENHANCEMENT
Vitamin A Accelerator
Vitamin A is not a separate peel on this menu. I use it as an optional booster when I want to increase cell turnover and take an appropriate facial or peel one step further.
Available as a booster
Circadia protocols use Vitamin A Accelerator as an optional finishing enhancement in advanced facial and peel protocols. Once applied, it becomes the final treatment step and is self-neutralizing.
I decide whether Vitamin A belongs in your treatment based on your skin, routine, sensitivity and how aggressively I actually need to treat you.
YOUR PEEL STARTS BEFORE APPOINTMENT DAY
Prep is part of the treatment.
I do not peel unprepared skin. Your home routine beforehand helps me reduce unnecessary irritation and gives your skin a better foundation for recovery.
Build the foundation
Depending on your skin, I may prioritize a gentle cleanser, barrier-supportive hydration, daily sunscreen and targeted corrective products before your first peel
For pigmentation
I may add professional brightening products or tyrosinase-inhibiting support during your prep period. MandeliClear has specific pretreatment requirements for darker Fitzpatrick types in the Circadia protocol.
Pause what needs pausing
Many Circadia peel protocols require retinoids, glycolic acid and salicylic acid to be stopped before treatment. The exact window depends on the peel, ranging from about one week to four weeks in the protocols I use.
