Every four weeks. Each session is calibrated to where your skin is that day, not just where you started.

Maybe. Your home routine either supports what we're doing or it works against it. There's not a lot of middle ground. I'm not going to make you start over, but I will be straight with you if something needs to change. That's a big part of why I offer a virtual consult before your first appointment.

Brightness and overall tone usually start shifting around sessions 2 or 3. Deeper pigmentation takes more time. That's just how melanin works, and rushing it causes more problems than it solves. I'd rather be real with you about the timeline and have you actually see lasting results than overpromise and underdeliver.

We check in on your results and figure out what's next. Some people move into a maintenance schedule, some want to keep pushing. Either way, we're not just stopping. Pigmentation comes back if you stop protecting and maintaining the skin. We'll build a plan that keeps what we worked for.

Because I need to see your skin respond before we go deeper. Tier 1 is where I learn your skin. How reactive it is, how your barrier is holding up, what we're actually working with. That information is what makes the rest of the series work. Going straight to stronger treatments without it is how people end up with flare-ups and setbacks.

Honestly, it depends on your skin. Most people see real correction in 4 to 8 sessions. Some clients are ready to move up after one round at a tier, some need two or three. Neither is better or worse — it just means we're paying attention. I'll always tell you where we are and what I'm seeing.

Tiers 1 and 2 are zero downtime. Go about your day. Tier 3 has Vitamin A in it, so you might see some light flaking or sensitivity in the days after, but nothing major. I'll go over aftercare with you every single time so you know what to expect.

You can still start. Active breakouts just mean we move more carefully and probably stay at Tier 1 a little longer while we calm things down first. If acne is a bigger concern for you than pigmentation right now, let's talk. There may be a better place to start before we jump into a brightening series.
